Wine Making

I know it's not insurance related, but here's a report on our annual wine making this past weekend.  We had a record 25 people over my house and we all enjoyed making wine.  My family has been doing this since 1980 and every year it seems more & more people are coming over to "help".  This year we made a combination of Merlot, Cabernet, Alligante and Barbera grapes.

Of course no event at my house is complete without plenty of food.  We served lunch and dinner for 25 people.  I'm so gratefull for all the help I had because I could have never done it on my own.  For dinner we served Turkey Empinadas (the turkey was shot at my Uncle's farm upstate).  As a pasta course, I served Cavettelli with a pork ragu.  The meat consisted of Pork loin with a parsley/rosemarie bread crumbs.  Everything was delicious and we drank 4 gallons of last year's wine!!

I promise more frequent posts and my next one will be about insurance.  In the mean time, check out our website at www.brookswaterburn.com  We are independent agents located in Westbury, NY
