Wine Making

I know it's not insurance related, but here's a report on our annual wine making this past weekend.  We had a record 25 people over my house and we all enjoyed making wine.  My family has been doing this since 1980 and every year it seems more & more people are coming over to "help".  This year we made a combination of Merlot, Cabernet, Alligante and Barbera grapes.  Of course no event at my house is complete without plenty of food.  We served lunch and dinner for 25 people.  I'm so gratefull for all the help I had because I could have never done it on my own.  For dinner we served Turkey Empinadas (the turkey was shot at my Uncle's farm upstate).  As a pasta course, I served Cavettelli with a pork ragu.  The meat consisted of Pork loin with a parsley/rosemarie bread crumbs.  Everything was delicious and we drank 4 gallons of last year's wine!! Hello All! My First Blog

Hi World.  This is my very first blog.  It might take me a while to get the hang of this, but my goal is to both inform you and maybe in some way entertain you.  My profession is insurance.  I have been in the industry for over 25 years and love it.  For the past 22 years, I have been proud to work for Brooks-Waterburn Corp.  We are an independent agent located in Westbury, NY.  I know what you're thinking; "How can insurance be entertaining?"  The truth is that an insurance policy is quiet boring.  It entertains on how insurance effects the lives of everyone.  Whether you had a claim and insurance saved you financially, or some of the interaction between our agency and customers, not a day goes by that I don't find something that makes all our hard work all worth it.
